What's new this week

Removal of archived messages

The possibility to remove messages from the archive has been added. This feature is not enabled by default. To allow this, go to the edit admin page, and enable the “allow removal of archived messages” option. Removed messages continue to be stored encrypted until they expire, but will no longer be visible or accessible via the web interface. This option will automatically also apply to any sub-admins of the admin, and it cannot be disabled once enabled.

Once the option has been enabled, in the archive search page, there is a new action available to remove selected messages from the archive. When using this option, the user will be warned that this is irreversible.
