This is our spam / virus filter update for customers on the mx1 / mx2.tnpw.net filtering cluster. The information is brought to you by our vendor, SpamExperts.

What's new this week

End of Support for IE 8:

Following on from our update several months ago, we have no officially ended support for using the web interface with Internet Explorer 8. Going forward, we will not be doing any QA against IE8, and will not be fixing any bugs that are specific to IE8. Users will continue to be prompted to update to a modern, secure, supported browser if they attempt to us the interface with IE8.

Archive Expiry available to Admin Users:

Admin users are now able to control whether the archiving accounts for their domains expire, and if they do, after how many days. Note that admins are limited to the settings that are ‘above’ them - e.g. an admin cannot turn off expiry if a super-admin has enabled it, and can only use the same number of days or fewer, not increase it to more (as the super-admin is typically in control of the hardware, including how much disk space is enabled).
