This is our spam / virus filter update for customers on the mx1 / mx2.tnpw.net filtering cluster. The information is brought to you by our vendor, SpamExperts.

What's new this week:

Minimum PHP version increase for control panel integrations

We are dropping support of our cPanel/Plesk/DirectAdmin/Odin/WHMCS addons running on PHP older than 5.4, and will no longer be releasing new features for these environments. The existing version of the plug-ins will continue to work, please disable the automatic updater if you are still running an outdated PHP environment. We will continue to provide security patches until the end of this year for the add-on running on outdated PHP versions. If you are using a 'Current Release' version of a control panel, then you will not be effected, as these systems should already have updated PHP versions.

Note that PHP 5.2 (which we were still supporting) reached the end of official PHP support over three years ago, PHP 5.3 two years ago, and PHP 5.4 last year. PHP 5.5 only receives security updates until the 10th of July this year, so we very strongly recommend that you are using at least PHP 5.6. See http://php.net/supported-versions.php for more information.
