Equinix SY4 Firmware Upgrades
Upcoming scheduled maintenance notice
After confirming with our switching vendor, an alternative firmware upgrade path has been provided and tested so we are able to complete this maintenance.
During the times listed in this maintenance, engineers will be performing firmware upgrades to our core switching in the Equinix SY4 facility. During this window, services in this facility may be unavailable for up to 5 minutes. The purpose of this change is to bring the firmware of core switching devices forward to improve device stability and enable us to better deliver services in this location.
Customers utilising the Servers Australia Private Cloud or HADRaaS, will be migrated to secondary operational environments to minimise or eliminate the impact of this maintenance, and will be contacted directly, prior to work being carried out.
